SGV is marketing straight to the consumers with this late night shopping network banger! Learn about the exciting new SGV Summer Swag Showcase featuring custom enamel pins in the classic SGV block logo and the, oh SO HAUTE, SGV hot sauce pin.
You know we love the SGV por vida, but sometimes you just gotta get away from all the hoodrats and the drama. In order to keep our creative minds limber the SGV design, marketing, and sales team took a mandatory corporate retreat full of team building exercises. We decided to take it to the California dessert and do an overnight camping trip to the Red Rock Canyon State Park, an hour+ past lancaster on the 14 freeway.
it's a wrap! The SGV Cinco De Mayo contest on instagram has come to a close and we'd like to thank all the SGV supporters that participated. The submissions were great and we had a blast looking thru them all, but alas, we had to narrow it down to the crema of the crop and select the winners. Congrats to you guys and we will be reacing out to you personally on your instagram accounts to send you the prize packages.

We decided to make our first official product release a homie collaboration and enlisted the artistic talents of Michael Alvarez. This Tshirt and enamel pin micro collection is oozing with SGV-ness. Silver and black + salsa picante = SGV for life.
You know we had to make a video for the release. Check it out, enjoy it, then make your "Commitment To Spiciness" by purchasing at the SGV store, Store 13 in West Covina & Pasadena, Bowls in Little Tokyo.
Keeping up with new music is work. Let DJ ABOMB do the work for you by giving you a quick crash course on the 2012 Coachella lineup. You're welcome.
Support your local independent Liquor Store! Where else can you get oversized Ed Hardy lighters, single cigarettes, and mini shooter bottles of the good stuff? Fuck a 7-11 and the rest of the soulless corporate fucks that are sucking the identity out of Southern California's neighborhoods one street corner at a time. SGV salutes the entrepreneurs of the hood for sticking thru the hard times and putting up with all the fun loving wierdos that come with the territory. As a long term project we are going to catalog each independent liquor store in the SGV one city at a time. First up: Alhambra.
Tropic Liquor • 210 N Huntington Dr. Alhambra, CA 91801 • 626-943-0350
Fisher's Market • 1322 W. Alhambra Rd. Alhambra, CA 91801 • 626-282-2143
Nothing major... just out and about on the mean streets of the SGV trying to do out thang. LJ, Doug De Autels, and John Lee trolling a schoolyard in the hills of MPK and the Bank of America next to Ralphs on Atlantic.
The SGV is not just about good food and bad driving. In fact the SGV has a rich history of music makers like Van Halen, Fergie and Taboo from the Black Eyed Peas, Oingo Boingo. Now with cheap yet powerful music editing software and the sharing power of the internet the SGV is really pushing it harder than ever. Check out these 5 homegrown SGV music videos that are restoring my faith in the creative potential of the SGV.

The only complaint I have about this video is that its not in HD. Homeboy's body twitch at 0:51 makes me smile every time I watch this underground masterpiece.
2 old dudes and another really old dude decide to revisit some old stomping grounds to get their x-mas eve shred on. rough ass ground, tons of fault line sized cracks, and shitty ledges complete with metal grating... this definitely ain't The Berrics, this is the SGV!
featuring the xtreme talents of: Paul Chan, Michael Alvarez, and Tomas Diaz
